The Rising Bihar

An eastern Indian state literally understood as monasteries. The land of Buddha, Mahavira, Chanakya, Ashoka, Aryabhatta, Patanjali, Sita, Bharati, Rajendra Babu, JP & of many more such great personalities.

A land of agriculture, rivers, scholars, poets, saints, festivals & humanity. It won’t be a hyperbole if we call this land once to be at the extreme of human’s internal and external development in terms of education, economy, culture, and spirituality.

It makes us feel severe pain seeing the current image of this great land that relates it with casteism, illiteracy, unemployment, corruption, and poverty in spite of its highly competitive, hard working, talented, committed & intelligent people in all aspects of human life.

This is where we Biharis think of “The Rising Bihar”. The imagination has gained a reality in recent with the honest efforts by some of us. Let us keep it continued and swear, “We will make it better than its past forms world widely known as Magadha, Mithila, Anga, & Lichhavi.
